A wonderful turn out of public and war veterans for the official opening of the Spectre Coffee Co in Sutton in Ashfield. Vic Szolin, Anders Hobson and I were delighted to be asked to play the pipes (recommended by our good pipe seargent colleague Stuart Gullen) - all from The Seaforth Highlanders (both Notts and Leicester branches)
We set off from the market place, playing Green Hills and Battles O'er, until we reached the cafe, which created a real buzz of interest.
Then played outside as the cafe was officially opened - a wonderful initiative to support war veterans who can attend and enjoy free tea and coffee at any time. Well
done everyone
