As a #traditionalBagpiper, I’ve now played a fair number of events ranging from #funerals to #weddings, #birthday #parties, #Burns nights and #honour #processions such as #Remembrance Sunday. I’m #Welsh by background but living in #Derbyshire and people often as ‘where do you cover’ - well, I could list every town in the #UK to be honest, but certainly the following are obviously more convenient eg #Derby, #Nottingham, #Leicester, #Coventry, #Birmingham, #Sheffield. Clearly, these are all #midlands based and that doesn’t mean i’m limited to this area or #Derbyshire alone, I’m more than happy to cover the entire UK.
I feel that it is quite an honour to be chosen and booked for someone’s event and I feel a deep sense of respect and thought for the family or event organiser since the piping ceremony naturally becomes quite a focal point.
